The Oxford Conspiracy is an exciting historical mystery/thriller set in 1836. I will not spoil the story here, but it is a blend of historical events and fiction which I engineered to form an engaging and hopefully enjoyable read. I always think that it is important to understand where the author has deviated from the truth, and so I have written a five-page hitorical supplement at the end of the novel. This book was inspired by some research my wife undertook concerning the human remains excavated from the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford before the hospital site was redeveloped. As her research assistant, I was priviledged to have access to the old hospital records which provided a rich vein of material for my story. If you decide to read my book, do have a look at the historical chapter at the end. See Synopsis Here
